CCPur: MLA & Chairman of Manipur Renewable Development Agency (MANIREDA) Mr. Ginsuanhau distributed 42 Solar Lighting System for Churachandpur district on the 14th of Jan at his residence Lailam village of CCPur district. The function was attended by 3 technicians from MANIREDA.
Mr. Ginsuanhau stated, while 20,000 solar system is allocated for Manipur state, only 1,000 have been released and 400 solar system for CCPur district. Out of which 42 is allocated for CCPur district MLA’s and the others yet to be released are expected to be received during this financial year, he added.
The MLA said, these solar systems will be distributed more on CCPur and Singngat sub-division. Meanwhile, the distribution of the systems will be prioritised first on where the MLA has made promises at some functions.
According to reports, 10 each for Bethesda School of Nursing, (Muolvaiphei), Kamdou Veng & Chinkham Modern School, (Zomi Colony); 4 each at Sangnga Muon In Bijang, Soikholal Ideal School and Greenwood Academy have been fixed yesterday.
The MLA in his speech told that, some MLAs deposited Rs. 2549.90 each for one set of solar to be fixed at their respective constituency. Mr. Ginsuanhau while making an appeal to the people not to steal these public properties apprised, fixing of solar system will continue, reportedly.
