HYA cultural festival concluded with huge fanfare; Minister assures Hmar Cultural Hall
CCPur: The Hmar Cultural Festival 2020 cum 35th years Coral celebration of the HYA was organised on Jan 23 & 24, 2020, the festival concluded with huge fanfare on Friday night last at Churachandpur’s Saidan village.
Chief Guest on the 23rd of January, Minister PHED, Printing & Stationery, Mr. Losii Dikho assured the gathering, he will move for the construction of Hmar Cultural Hall with the concern MP and also at state Cabinet Meeting.
As Chief Guest for the 2nd day of the festival i.e. the 24 of January MP. Dr. Lorho Pfoze could not turn up, Naga People’s Front (NPF) working President Robert T. Maram on the behalf of Mr. Pfoze stated, NPF is not only for the Nagas but stands politically for the weaker and marginalized sections of NE region.
According to reports, business session of the HYA Tuițhaphai JHQ and Election for the new term of 2020 -2022 was held today at Saidan village Community hall. The delegations elected Lalhrietzing Famhoite and Lalvulthang Khawbung as the organisation’s new President & General Secretary respectively.
The two day and night cultural festival witnessed a huge gathering of people from all sections of the society in Churachandpur town area.
