Saikawt (hilldigest.com): “We can’t forget to mention one of the finest composers of all time Pu Buonglienkung during this important event.” This was stated by Mizoram MP Pu C Lalrosanga who attended the 10th Anniversary celebration of Blessed Choir as chief guest at Saikawt on November 10, 2019.
The parliamentarian spoke about the “lively songs” of Blessed Choir, saying “their songs have a speciality and uniqueness of their own”. “I used to listen to your songs, but wonder about the dialect whether it was not Mizo/Duhlian dialect.” He also said that he wanted to gift something to the choir, but “not that small that can be kept inside a bag”. He told the members he will tell them later.
Manipur Agriculture Minister Pu V. Hangkhanlian & Tipaimukh MLA Pu Dr. Chaltonlien also attended the function as functional President and chief host respectively.
EAC Central Choir, NPT Choir, EOC Central Choir, ICI Central Choir, PCI(R) Central Choir, Reformed Choir, EFCI Saikawt Presbytery Choir and EBC Central Choir took part in the event.
ICI Executive Secretary Rev. Dr. JL Songate released the 10th Anniversary Souvenir and Pu Lalrosanga released a new music video of the choir.
