Curachandpur District added 11 Coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking its tally to 845 positive cases, the District Administration data showed late on Friday evening.
In the 24 hour period, the district reported another Covid death at JNIMS. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Tuibong, and this is the third fatal case in the district.
Among the new infections, 2 are from the military personnel and 11 from locals without any travel history.
Altogether, 647 Covid patients from the district have recovered from the dreaded virus. Meanwhile, the recovery rate now stands at 79.76 per cent.
The total number of active Coronavirus case in the district is 168.
Presently, 2 people are under observation at District Hospital Isolation Ward, 36 at CCC NIELIT Tuibong, 45 at CCC Lanva TD Block, 3 at STC BSF, 25 at 27 Sector AR and 3 at 2nd AR Singngat respectively.
