Senvon-based organisations support PIL filed against “non-functioning” of Govt PHC/PHSC
Various social organizations from Pherzawl District’s Senvon village have issued letter of endoresement on the PIL filed by J. Dalthangsang against the “non-functioning” of the state government’s PHC & PHSC in the district.
In a joint statement issued on the 31st of October 2020, the signatories expressed gratitude to the petitioner who they said have no personal interest but love and affection for the people of Senvon and bringing up the healthcare issue before the court.
They said that people of the village are dependent only the services provided by a private NGO named New Life Trust.
They also expressed disappointment at the so-called “Senvon Public Leader” who they said without the consent of the public tried to deny the facts in a letter to the Secretary/Commissioner (Health and Family Welfare, Manipur).
The joint statement was signed by Lalrongai, Treasurer, Val Upa/HYA Branch Adviser; David Lalnunmawi, President HSA Senvon Unit; Lalṭanmawi, President HWA; Lalkhawsan, Chairman Senvon Dev Society and Buonthanglien, Secretary Senvon Dev Society respectively.
