Hill Digest: One of India’s finest journalist Mr. David Buhril has been awarded Doctorate degree by the Mizoram University.
He completed his Doctoral Thesis under the guidance of Department of Political Science Prof. K.V. Reddy, titled the “New Social Movements in Northeast India: Contextualizing Environmentalism in Contemporary Collective Action.”
Dr. Buhril exposed the brutality of Manipur valley militants in Pherzawl district’s Tipaimukh region, he was awarded the “Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award” in 2007. And held the post of Hmar Inpui General Secretary in 2013-15.
He is currently the Principal of Happy Heart Junior College in Churachandpur district.
