All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur (ATSUM) General Election for the term 2020-22 was held on September 19 at Imphal Chingmeirong’s Adimjati Complex.
Seiboi Haokip is elected President for the new term, Vanlallien Khaute for Vice President, SR Andria for General Secretary, Micah Kamei for Asst Gen Secretary and Henkai Singsit for Finance Secretary respectiely.
Departmental Secretaries as follows: Education – Kaikho Hopeson Mao; Information & Publicity – Khaiminlen Doungel; Social & Culture – Karang Paul; Forest & Environment – Gaisingam Gangmei; Sports & Youth Affairs – Lamcha Chongloi; Asst. Secretary (Education) – Thangtinlen Haokip.
Assembly Affairs will be chaired by the New Speaker Lovejoy Shimrah, it’s Deputy Speaker – Kakam Haokip, Secretary – Sawmthang Ralsun and Deputy Secretary yet to be appointed by the concerned authority.
