Laying of foundation stone for the new Medical College at Churachandpur District will be held after few weeks, after which the construction for the new Medical College will start simultaneously, state Health & Family Welfare Minister, L. Jayantakumar wrote on his Facebook page.
The Ministerial team with officials on the 19th of September have inspected the place for this medical college.

27 acres of land for constructing the new Medical College is donated by the chief of Mata village, Mr. Lallunkam which has been accepted by the state Cabinet.
