Drug addicts in Churachandpur to be enrolled in Rehab centres: DC
CCPur: Churachandpur District Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav said that drug addicts should be enrolled at government registered rehabilitation centres.
According to the statement issued by the district official, drug addicts found by the district police in the streets, roadside or other places are ordered to be enrolled at government designated registered rehab centres.
The four government registered IRCA’s in Churachandpur District are – Mangal IRCA, Samaria IRCA, Lametnamun IRCA and New Life IRCA.
“In case there are no vacancies in these centres, the Social Welfare department in consultation with the district police are ordered to prepare a waiting list.”
The DC also ordered regular weekly status reports of these IRCA’s so that additional centres can be proposed to the Ministry concerned, the statement added.
