KING KONES by LAMKA FOODS marks 2nd anniversary with celebration
The Churachandpur-born brand manufactures more than 30 types of meat products and more than 30 varieties of ice cream.
CCPur: Meat processing brand KING KONES by LAMKA FOODS, marks it’s 2nd anniversary with a huge celebration today at CCPur’s Rengkai village.
Manager M. Bishorjit Singh welcomed attendees, which included staff and special guests who have helped in KING KONES’ growth. Alan L Thiek, a lecturer at Sielmat Bible College opened the proceedings with a prayer while staff members performed and shared their favourite memories. KING KONES founder Sarah Hmingrimawi then thanked the attendees and staff for the success of the brand. Rev. Varsanglur, Local Pastor, Lamka ICI Church closed the proceedings with a ‘Thanksgiving Prayer’ for KING KONES, statement from KING KONES’ claimed.
KING KONES, which earlier exclusively manufactured ice cream at its factory in Churachanpur, ventured into meat processing last year, the first of its kid in India. KING KONES products can now be found across Manipur and the wider North East region, including Aizawl, Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung, Guwahati and Itanagar. And, it will also be soon available in Bhutan once export licenses are finalised, the statement said.
Parent company LAMKA FOODS opened in 2010 and began by retailing popular food brands. It has since quickly grown, now manufacturing its own products right here in Churachanpur. It is also worth mentioning that LAMKA FOODS May be the only ISO CERTIFIED Private company in Churachandpur.
