BJP Churachandpur District President Khaipao Haokip on October 1, 2020, issued an order appointing Thangṭhatling Sinate as the new BJP Mahila CCPur President. Ms Sinate takes charge forthwith and she will also be incharge of Pherzawl District as the party’s district unit is still under Churachandpur District.
Accordingly, Ms Sinate on October 5 appointed Ms Salam Rina Devi & Ms Rammawi Hmar as Vice President of BJP CCPur Mahila; Ms Alhing Haokip as General Secretary; Ms Roslyn Kom as Treasurer; Ms Remzo Hmar, Ms Romawi & Ms Sonkim Guite as Secretaries respectively.
During 1999-2014, Ms Sinate worked as a Female Health Supervisor. She is also as the first and only HYA Imphal JHQ Woman President (2014-2016). In 2018, she was appointed as Pherzawl District Co-ordinator for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. She is currently holding the post of Treasurer at Hmar Inpui GHQ.
