3 suspects arrested in CCPur SBI ATM robbery case

Three persons suspected to be the killers of CCPur SBI ATM cash loader Arambam Ranjan Meitei who fled away with around Rs 1.15 crores in hand on September 4 have been arrested by the police.

All these three persons are said to be Writers Safeguard Group, working as a sub-contract under the State Bank of India, according to the district police officials.

The arrested persons are V. Thangkhamuan (40) V. Munluah, New Lamka, K. Somen Singh (36), Khuga Tampak, Zoveng and Kongkham Brojen Singh (40) Bamon Kampu, Imphal East respectively.

According to police, the arrested persons have looted cash amounting to Rs 2 crores in the past 5 years. The deceased Ranjan was also said to be a contract worker of Writers Safeguard Group.
